Langston takes home his second AMA title of the year

South African native wins the AMA Supermoto Unlimited Championship

PICKERINGTON, Ohio (Nov. 24, 2003) -- Grant Langston enjoyed the proverbial icing on the cake Friday night in Las Vegas by winning the Supermoto Unlimited class of the AMA Red Bull Supermoto Championship. Langston, 21, of South Africa, took the win riding a Red Bull HMC KTM. Already the recently crowned winner of the AMA Chevy Trucks 125 U.S. Motocross Championship, Langston showed equal skill in supermoto. After battling with early leader Ben Carlson and European ace Kurt Nicoll, Langston pulled away late in the 14-lap final to take the victory and the championship in the winner-take-all format.

Carmichael and Reed Head to Head for THQ World Supercross!

Carmichael to Challenge Reed for THQ World Supercross

AURORA, Ill. (November 10, 2003) - Clear Channel Entertainment's Motor Sports division announced today that Team Honda's Ricky Carmichael will compete in the THQ World Supercross GP, which starts in Seville, Spain (December 6) and Arnhem, Holland (December 13). Carmichael capped off a stellar summer, earning his 10th AMA national championship by winning his fourth 250cc outdoor motocross title.

Carmichael, the winner of three consecutive 250cc AMA Supercross Series championships, challenges Team Yamaha's Chad Reed, the reigning THQ World Supercross GP champion with his decision to race in the 2003-2004 THQ World Supercross GP.

Privateer Tests Days Available at Four THQ World Supercross

AURORA, Ill. (October 28, 2003) - Clear Channel Entertainment's Motor Sports division announced today that there will be four privateer test days for the 2004 THQ World Supercross GP/AMA Supercross Series. Each privateer test day will be held on the Thursday prior to the race at 2:00 p.m. and is available to any AMA pro-licensed privateer competing in that event.

"Unlike the factory riders, the privateer sector does not have the luxury of practicing on an official supercross test track each week," said Todd Jendro, director of supercross, Clear Channel Entertainment - Motor Sports. "This program is designed to help the privateers get more practice time and hone their skills on an official Dirt Wurx-built supercross track."

The Stars Come Out to Race the California Supercross in Fresno

The CMA/Clawson Motorsports California Supercross is set to take place November
1-2 with an entry list that reads like a who's who in motocross. The event will
be held in Grizzlies Stadium-one of the newest AAA baseball stadiums in the
country-and is shaping up to be a must-see on any motorsports fan's agenda.

Headlining the list of riders scheduled to compete is the King of Supercross

5 German Enduro Titles for KTM!

Last weekend the German Enduro Championships came to a very successful end for KTM with the last race in Zschopau. The result: 5 titles!

Marcus Kehr of the R+P KTM Sturm Team became the 125cc 2-stroke German enduro champion.
