CARMICHAEL AND STEWART SET FOR RUBBER MATCH AT ANAHEIM III

PICKERINGTON, Ohio (February 1, 2006) – Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart have one win apiece at Angel Stadium so far in this year’s Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series. On Saturday, Feb. 4, the two riders will have an opportunity to settle the score as to who is the 2006 King of Anaheim, as the three-act drama in front of an expected 40,000-plus fans at Angel Stadium comes to a close.

Kawasaki’s Stewart took the first win at Anaheim I on Jan. 7, to open the 2006 Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series. Defending champ Carmichael then rode his factory Makita Suzuki to victory in Anaheim II on Jan. 21. Only two points separate series leader Carmichael from Stewart. Whoever manages to win at Angel Stadium will have a slight edge as the series moves on to San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium on Feb. 11. Of course, Yamaha’s Chad Reed is hoping to have his breakthrough win this weekend as are a host of other top riders including Ivan Tedesco, Mike LaRocco and Michael Byrne.

Sellards got off the gate with the holeshot just in front of his team mate Jeff Northrop. Team Faith’s Kevin Johnson was third off the gate and soon pressured Northrop for the second position. PICKERINGTON, Ohio (January 25, 2006) – Suzuki’s Ricky Carmichael is having the battle of his career in the 2006 Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series, but the four-time series champ finds himself in the familiar position of leading the standings coming into the San Francisco Supercross this Saturday, Jan. 28, at SBC Park.

Carmichael took over sole possession of the series lead with a victory last weekend in Anaheim, Calif. Jarvis Take Strong 4th Position at The Tough One

Reigning British Trials Champion originating from Folkestone, Kent, Graham Jarvis tried his skills at a new sport at the weekend. Jarvis who was competing on board the Sherco 4.5i Enduro bike took an outstanding 4th place in only his second Enduro event. The event aptly named 'The Tough One' sponsored by KTM really tested the ability of the 30 riders entered including that of Jarvis.

Up against the likes of current World Enduro Champion David Knight and former World Enduro Champion Paul Edmondson, plus no less than eight top ten British Enduro riders Jarvis certainly had his work cut out over the physical course set out by Steve Ireland and his crew at WOR.
