I have a 1975 ke 100 and I want to make it look more modern or just unique and I was wondering what i should do to it. I dont really want to spend any money but I have a big source of iron and iron pipes and I have a welder that I could do some welding with. What could I do to my 175 ke 100 to make it unique?

Thinking about a 280 high comp kit for my xr,really want some more power but at the same time wanna keep the bike reliably.Have been quoted for the job works out around [AU]$2500 plus racing cam, service.Just wanna know if i should go ahead with the mod,or ungrade to a xr400.
My son is six years old and wants to ride. Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ says he is old enough to ride in the 50cc class. I need a recommendation for what brand of bike he should ride. I don't want to spend $1500 on a honda or any of the other top brands until I see how serious he is. I feel it should be fully automatic for now since he is only six and shifting may be a bit much for him. I want it to be fun, not frustrating. If he sticks with it I'll get a semi-auto and then when he is ready he'll graduate to a manual transmission.
I see there is a comment regards the 3 day tour, I have just been a 3 day ride with Dave and his crew,I had a great time there were 8 in the group and we all loved it. I found the accommodation better than expected, it is the outback and there are limited options.
The trails were excellent our group were better than average riders and we were buggered after each day.
Cant say enough about the ride, the crew were very switched on, was great value for money.. Ride on..
