MORGANTOWN, W.V. (April 15, 2009) - Just six weeks from the opening round of the 2009 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, series managers MX Sports Pro Racing has announced that its competition website is now live with even more additions coming. The new website www.mxsportsproracing.com provides competition information including rider registration, rules, crew and guest credentialing, press policies, prospective pro rider information and more.
"We have been working diligently to create a website that meets the administrative needs of our riders, teams, sponsors and press," said Series Administrator Stephani McIntyre. "As we move into this new era of motocross management, we plan to continue developing the website with the ability to answer most competition questions before they need to be asked."
A new addition to registration procedures is the ability to register online for the first time in the history of the series. Riders who have been approved for their 2009 AMA Pro Motocross license will receive a welcome email from MX Sports Pro Racing inviting them to login to a secure area on the website to register for events, update sponsors, contact information, purse payout preferences and more.
With rider entries limited to just 80 riders each in the 250 and 450 classes we recommend riders to become registered well in advance. The pre-entry will close 14 days prior to the event and post-entries will only be accepted on a case-by-case basis with additional fees required. For more information on entries and registration acceptance criteria go to http://www.mxsportsproracing.com/pages/administration/registration.
