Hi, my names matt, ive been riding since i was about 10 yrs old on and xr 70 ...after that i got out of dirtbiking till the beginning of this year... My friend just got an 06 crf 250.and i loved the way it rode...it was def sweet but i just needed more power if i was going to get one..so 2marro im going up to z and m cycles in north huntington pa...and buying an 01 cr 250...do you thnk this is a good idea or bad

The cr 250 is a powerful bike, if u never rode befor it would be a very bad choice, and it all depends on how experienced you are. if u think u could handle the power then go for it. i am 15 years old and i have been riding since i was 5 and i know that personally i would prefer a cr 125 or a crf 250, right now i have a cr 85 and i race but i am sellin it and i am buyin a crf 250. i have rode lots of bikes and the cr 250 has a strong powerband around 2nd and 3rd gear
