Well. i've just been watching the TV here, and there was an advertisment for the motor show on.
They had pictures of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, etc on. And i thought. Damn. Dirtbikers dont really spend much money. I mean, sure a new dirtbike costs a bit, but compared to a "supercar", a new dirtbike is peanuts!

How many times can you crash a dirtbike without taking it to the crash repairer? Try doing it even once with ANY car.
Sure, you need a bit of gear to ride, but even then, its a much cheaper hobby than many other motorsports.

what is wrong with you man? Dirtbiking isnt cheap at all....yeah maybe if you compare the price of the cars compared to a dirtbike but hell no its not cheap if you actually want to ride it. Maybe if you are loaded its cheap to you but its actually really expensive and there is know thrill out of driving one of those cars compared to a dirtbike. You can't get the same thrill unless you have a dirtbike and you actually ride. But its obvious that you don't ride at all so why are you even on this site

dirtbiking is cheaper than the the things you mentioned . Also it's ahelluva lot more fun. I would much rather be riding ripping up the trails and catching some sik air than driving on the roads where the amount of fun and the speed are all punishable. Remember good road biring bad people and bad roads bring good people. see ya out on the tracks and trails. DIRT BIKES RULE!!!

im a dirtbike rider and you can't compare it to a car. I mean look how much a car is. But dirtbikers do spend quite a bit of money. After every race you have to basically rebuild a new one which is about 3000 minimum.

dirtbikes cost alot of money....so do cars, but it all depends on the shape its in....every thing that is new will cost alot...you get what you pay for.... i have 2 dirtbikes both really old and i wouldnt have it anyother way....im to poor to afford a new one

My KX-85 is a Very nice dirtbike. i have had it almost a year now - i believe that dirtbiking is a Very thrilling thing, If your gonna get into a somewhat cheap sport, make it dirtbiking, Quads are for skill-less riders - Cars suck, get a truck, get your dirtbike in teh back, and RIDE IT!!!

Mate you dont need to re-build yuor bike after every race!!! If its a four stroke and you give it all its got every weekend at a race then probably every six months, but not pretty much after every race!!!

I also agree with motoxracer, dirtbiking is the funnest thing you will do, cars your just stearing the wheel and pressing the gas. Dirtbike gets the adrenilin going.

i'm a bmx rider i do free style and street cause i cant afford a dirtbike right now cause i cant get a job cause im 13 but comparing the price of a dirtbike and a super car is the dumbest thing i ever heard and dirtbikes are definitely not cheap yeah super cars are alot more expensive but it doesnt change the fact that dirtbikes cost a lot thats all i have to say

I'm only 15, have a brand new dirtbike, Honda cr 125, and i've redun the motor twice, suspension upgrade and lots more! I've probably spent more on my bike than u have on ur frickin car.

I have a KX-85 Pro, i have had it since '04 - i have had to rebuild this bike 3 times already. i dont race, i do ride trails (rough). can anyone tell me what might be the problem with that? im only 15 and would LOVE to have my fricking dirtbike up and running ALL the time. My Banshee workds awesome, never fails me.

I ride a CRF 230, I love it! I also have a car and no way in hell i would ever choose a fast car over a dirtbike. Its never broken down, I ride pretty rough trials. I have recked it many times and never had to fix it unlike a friggin car. I am 15.
