Motorcycling Australia has sanctioned the 2002 Freestyle Masters Series to take place, for senior 250cc and 125cc solo motorcycle competitors.
The inaugural Freestyle Masters Series will be promoted by Spokes Promotions, the promoter of the 2002 Australian Supercross Championship.
The first Round of the 2002 Freestyle Masters Series will take place in South Australia later this month. The full calendar is as follows:
- Rd 1 29 June 2002 - Adelaide Entertainment Centre
- Rd 2 14 July 2002 - Brisbane Entertainment Centre
- Rd 3 28 July 2002 - Melbourne Park, Melbourne
- Rd 4 20 October 2002 - Sydney SuperDome
Participation in the Series will be by invitation to riders who have been endorsed as Freestyle riders by the Motocross Commission
