Motard suspension is unique in that it must accommodate both the high-speeds of pavement racing and the jumps of motocross. The suspension is lowered 1 to 2 inches to give the motorcycle a lower center of gravity and better high-speed handling. The most important aspect of Motard suspension is to get the suspension to accommodate the dual street - dirt ground surfaces. This is done by combining road race valving settings mixed with dirt specs and Race Tech Gold Valves.
