Husqvarna racing has dominated round 1 of the Supermotard Extreme Qld Championships held at Gladstone’s Formula K Raceway yesterday, winning all three classes and the All Powers Challenge.
With excellent weather, a large crowd, and a well prepared all-bitumen track, conditions were perfect to kick start Husqvarna’s 2005 supermotard campaign. And what better way to do it than with victories in all three
categories – Unlimited, Sport, and Lites.
Last year’s National Champion, Josh McFarlane, continued to stamp his authority in the Unlimited Class onboard his Husqvarna Racing SMR630.
McFarlane led all four races in convincing fashion to take out Round 1 honors, with Daniel McKenzie and Michael Ricketts taking the remaining spots on the podium.
“The bike (Husqvarna SMR630) is bullet proof and the results this weekend illustrate that. To see Huskies on top across all categories is a great sight,
