An excellent new kid friendly venue with a big safe paddock for kids to ride around – a pity none came – probably holed up inside at home looking at the rain, which did not venture over the range so we had cold cloudy conditions to ride in with no dust & no overheating. Keep it in mind for the kids next year eh?
Most of the adults stayed home too, as above plus lots of rides lately. Anyway we THREE riders had a great ride. Simon did a great job of stringing all the back roads in the area together including a lot I hadn’t seen before despite lots of looking over the years & Richard gave the 525 a final run in before he gives it full throttle when he has all the proper riding gear soon. He even managed to fall off on a steep slippery hill track but no dramas. Of course I rode past him to give him the incentive to RIDE ON BRISKLY. We took in lots of excellent scenery sights in the area with many horse properties scattered throughout them thar hills. We made it to Strath for an early lunch at the popular THE GARAGE & the thirsty bike fuelled up just to make sure.
A shorter blast back via more scenic byways made it an early finish to go home for much of the arvo for in my case more unpacking as much of the contents of the shed slowly makes its way inside.
