yes u could with no problem ur bike now is a 2-stroke and im sure the new one is a 4. but personally id stick with the bike u have now there quick for there size and really versitiile. if ur looking for a upgrade go to something over 250(but personally id test drive the 250 to see how much power it has) but the thing about 4 strokes is you may find them boring because of limited power band.
i went from a xr 100 to a '04 crf250r it depends on ur riding abilites and confidence. at first i was timid on it but the bike has tons of power so who wouldnt but after the first week i was tearing every trail up
