Alright i just bought this 2002 yz 125. I took it out riding for a couple hours and it ran like a BOSS, though it had a little trouble idling. The next day i had planned to take one of my buddies with me; he dosnt have a bike or know how to ride, he just wants to learn. So we unload the bike, starts up first kick. I ride it around for a few minutes lightly to warm it up, and then i rip on it. Go back to the truck so he could try it and he say ride it around for a bit more so i started it back up no problem, rode around for a few, then came back. As he's sitting on the bike and im explaining clutch, shift, blahblahblah, the bike is off. try to start it... no luck. now its 2 days later and ive cleaned the plug but havnt bought anew one yet, disassembled the carb and cleaned it, took the reed valve out but im not sure how or if im supposed to clean that. other than that ive tried kicking it a bunch, and ive tried run-starting it. when i run-start it, or try to anyway, i run with it, pop it in second and it sounds like its on but if i turn the throttle it boggs and if i stop running it dies lol. PLEASE HELP ME!!! ive be trying to trouble shoot on the web and have found all the same things ive tried! i have yet to buy a new plug but cleaning it and gapping it correctly should suffice right? thx for all the help peace.
