Last weekend the Vision Motorsport / www.taylorpotterracing.com team of
Luke Smith and I had a great time down at the Nunawading and District MX
Club day of racing.
The day started out damp but turned into a cool sunny day, perfect for
racing. I went 1-1-1 on my Vision Motorsports KTM 250 SXF and Luke wore
himself out racing four classes to go 1-1-1 on his Vision Motorsports KTM
85 SX, 1-1-DNF on his Vision Motorsports KTM 125 SX, the DNF was
mechanical glitch, 2-2-2 on his Vision Motorsport KTM 250 SXF and 1-1-1 on
ACS Racings BBR150.
That meant that the Team was on the podium in all classes entered and I
caught up with a lot of the riders that I have been coaching to see how
they went racing and a lot had improved their speed and skills and I saw a
lot of friends I hadn't seen in a while.
This weekend Luke is off to the 1st round of the 2009 Victorian Junior MX
Titles at Ararat on his Vision Motorsport's KTM 85, 125 and 250F and I
head north to Toowoomba Queensland for the 3rd round of the 2009 MX
Nationals, the Australian Motocross Championships racing in the Pro Lite
class so its a busy weekend for the team spread across Australia.
After Toowoomba I return back to work in Melbourne and then next weekend
fly out to Mackay in Queensland for the 4th round. Details of the series
is on www.ozmotox.com.au
