Team green & yellow DRZ drove up when the night was dark & stormy. The weather cleared well before we got to camp to be greeted by hordes (well 17 bikes in camp after a few other late arrivals). We all caught up around the campfire as usual with JP still bellowing in the dark when most of us went to bed & left the late stayers to it.
The morning gave cloudy cool weather with finer conditions in sight for a perfect day’s riding. Lots of red bikes & orange bikes with a few other colours thrown in to make 15 riders, with Jeff & young son hanging near camp taking advantage of the kid friendly venue.
Jeff had been rear ended in town on the way earlier with the trailer pushed off the ball & punching a hole in the back of the car, but he valiantly drove on briskly.
