i have a yz125 i am ok on it pretty young but in a year or so i want to get a kx250 4 stroke would you tell me what the diffrences would be in enduro and motocross
The difference is that the 2stroke is ok but the four stroke is better.It has better topend bottom and middle.It's way faster and you get better starts .On endero if you are short it's going to be hard because it is a little tricky to start. But it is way better than the 2stroke.
stay on your 125 till they take 4 strokes off the race track they have way better bottom end and middle but not top end its not like you r right 2 the bar on the race track anyway and plus you can throw around a 125 like theres no tomorrow a 250 you cant do that.
Why would anyone ride a 2 smoke anyway? They are obnoxious sounding and they stink ! 4 strokes on the other hand sound mean and deliver much more "usable" power. Lowend rox !!!!
Oh and by the way who ever said anything about taking 4 strokes off of ANY track,hell...we just now got a foot in the door and we are NOT going anywhere but to the podium.
look its all up to u but i ride kx250f and its light too me coz im a 110kg 6.1ft rider and it rides perfect to me but i did have to change both front and rear springs. personaly i dont think that 2 strokes are bad (there my fav , theres nothing like band ay;) ) its all up to the rider some people can see the difference but not me. and about the enduro bit my mate has an 04 exc450 and me and him are always neck and neck they are a totaly different bike for totally different stuff but they can do both unlike a mx bike wich i found strugles on loose rocky hills. personaly i would go 250 2-stroke coz i want to do fmx so yeah like i sead its up to the rider if ur big and tall it realy is better to get the 4 stroke and ride!!!!
i have a yz 125 its cool and really fast, but really if u think of it 2 strokes are better than 4 strokes a 125 4 stroke would loose agaist a 125 2 stroke a 250 2 stroke has more power than a 250 4 stroke and so on. so why are people saying 4 strokes are better beacause u can race them in more classes u can race a 250 4 stroke in a 125 2 stroke class how fare is that? and u can race a 450 4 stroke in a 250 2 stroke class. it doesnt make sense to me but i heard that 4 strokes use to suck they use to be big and bulky and hard to ride so they made it ok to race a 250 4 stroke in a 125 class cause the 4 strokes back then sucked the were heavy and had a crappy suspension. and the exzact same thing with the 450 4 stroke they use to have no suspension and only really made for trail riding now there way better they have caught up to the 2 stroke i can say, but what made them pass the 2 stroke one simlple little thing a stupid rule book. u see how fast the 2 strokes are fadding watch what happens when thay changed one rule 4 strokes will be gone. but i dont think the rules will change, but i still plan on racing 250 four strokes soon. so if i were u i would stay on that 125 mx dave at least in ur country kawasaike still sells its 125 2 stroke there. and i heard honda is gonna stop selling its cr 85 2 stroke and cr 125 2 stroke to americca so they can put more mony in there four strokes, just like kawasakie did with there kx 125. so stay with ur yz 125
