Finally a website that gives women off-road riders the press that they deserve!
From the new site:
Welcome to a new site created by and for women off-road riders. This is a place for us to share information about what is going on in the women's off-road community, to share in the success of women off-road racers around the country, and to get information about what products are coming out just for us. We will also have articles by top women riders, including ride and race reports, and tips and techniques. Also, this site will give us the forum we need in order to to obtain sponsors, and thank those sponsors who have stepped up to the plate in support of women off-road.
Please also feel free to submit your bio for the bio section. Let's show these companies just how many of us there are.
I am proud to start off this site with an article from Nicole Bradford about the riding school that she hosted in Oregon on May 11-12 with Kerrie Brokaw. Nicole competes in the 250A class in the Rocky Mountain Enduro Circuit in Colorado and is one of only 4 US women to finish the prestigious ISDE (International Six Day Enduro). Kerrie Brokaw is a fellow Colorado rider who competes in the 200B class in the Rocky Mountain Enduro Circuit and also competes at the women’s National level in Observed trials. Back in 1984 Kerrie competed in and finished the grueling Scottish Six Day Trial. You can read Nicole's article here, and can get an outline of the school's agenda and tips here.
