It is possible ive asked about up grading my tyres and they sed u have to just buy the rims and tyres and they fit them on but thats on my bike so it should be possible
really
dude thanks for replying i really need to raise this bike and i contacted a yamaha dealer but they really didnt know what they were talking about. Because one said it is possible but the other said it isnt. Who told you,are they a buisness or like a friend because it cost 327 to buy the tires and rims and dont want to waste money. man i hope your right!
hey bud you would have to set
hey bud you would have to set your suspension up cause it would rub
hey i have a tt-r 230 and if you need any q's just ask.....
i asked matmaladin it has sin
i asked matmaladin it has since closed down and i have a suzuki just ask a few dealers first i had a 125 aswell they sed u can do it but before anything make sure but they sed it to me
but u also i think wil hav to
but u also i think wil hav to buy the the front disc brake with it
also if yur feet are flat on
also if yur feet are flat on the ground, how much bigger do u wanna go, cuz if u go to big yur gonna need to change gearing. the bike is obiviously to small for you already and now yur gonna take away more torque. if yur feet are flat on the ground then u might wanna get a bigger bike. i had an rm80 a long time ago and i could almost bend my knees when touching the ground. i destroyed that bike from jumping it, so its not only the power but the suspension doesnt like having someone on it that weighs as much as the bike itself. idk just my opinion. might wanna consider
first make sure your front fo
first make sure your front forks are as high as they can go by losening the top tripple clamp and moving the forks all the way down.. then try a stiffer spring in the back.. that could gain an inch or more which is all you will get from the tires anyway.. and even if the tires would give you another inch your gonna have to buy rims and tires and maybe even a swingarm... its gonna cost alot..... let me know if that helps....
TTR 125
I asked around about the same thing but was told swing arm would need to be changed and when you changed to the TTR 125 L model rims you would also have to switch to disk front brakes. They said it will work but not perfect.
