Yamaha Four Strokes
i have a 1995 yamaha yz125. when cold it kicks over and starts first time without using throttle but when ive been riding it and turn off it wont re-start at all unless i bump it. any ideas really getting annoyed with it now

I am considering getting 2008 WR450F. I went to the one of yamaha dealers, and I was offered 10%off with 2007 WR450F.
From yamaha's website I noticed virtually no difference between 2007 and 2008 models.
Which one do you guys think I should get?
im having a problem getting my buddies yz 80 to start ive changed plugs, coil ,and its getting gas i cant find anybody to stick their finger in the plug boot while i kick it . (used up all my friends on that trick ) ive also unplugged the kill switch to see if that helped it didnt . i cant find any web site to help me with wireing problems or if this thing has a magneto any help is very welcome

I have to run VP c12 through my bike now. I was wondering if anyone knew where a good place to buy it is. An online site that has a good deal on it because it is 55 dollars for 5 gallons at my track....
I ride a 2004 YZ 125 and had my top end rebuilt this week, we put a wiseco piston in, while we were doing the top end we also put vforce3 reeds and a FMF SST pipe. The bike ran fine before this, and after we put the parts on and dyno jetted the bike it holed the piston at 4400 rpms on the dyno. we put a stock piston in it checked the timing, and after every dyno run we checked the piston for etching. We made a few runs and the bike was running a little rich, we put it up to 5000 rpm's and the bike started to sound funny so we pulled in the clutch and checked the piston sure enough it had started pitting.
Thanks for the replies guys , I will mix 40 to 1 , But i think i have major problems with my bike . I got my idle screw in for my carb and put it in yesterday but it still wont idle" or start with the kick start.... So i pushed it down a hill and got it to start it was running pretty rough but cleared up enough so that the power band kicked in .. But then i looked down and seen oil LEAKING from the exhaust { where it hooks to the head } and also from a hole on the top side of the engine { right under the carb bowl } and the under side of my rear fender was covered with black suit { oil } from the exhaust ...
hey guys i just bought a 85 yz125 it was pretty rough but i got it for $700.00 . the guy i bought it from had painted the plastics yellow with a paint brush!!!! can you belive that ___! and it was missing the idel screw on the mikuni carb. I just put yamaha blue plastics on it and orderd the idel screw for the carb. it ran the day i test drove it but would not idel . so i hope the idel screw fixes that .. it has been about 12 years since i have been on a dirt bike but i remember how much fun it was so im looking to get back in the game!!! and ride it like i stole it ...... I just changed the trans.
