TTR 125L

My son has one, he bought it when he was 10 and now going on 13 he rides a YZ 85. We have made many modifications. For just riding fun it's a great bike. If you plan to race then the 2 strokes are the way to go. The bike just runs and runs. Remember it's the rider not the bike that wins. Good luck. If you can find a used one that has lots of goodies on it, it will save you lots of money. Remember these bikes don't wear out very fast and probably the used ones have many great years ahead.

TTR-125LE is the way to go

Im 14 140ibs and i have a TTR-125LE. I would prefer the TTR rather than the CRF150 because it is way lighter, easier to handle, and it has the electric start. i have bbr shocks, pro-circuit t4 pipe, and renthals. it is a sweet bike but its your choice
