i wanna turn my wr 250 into a yz 250f and all i know that i have to do first is take the light off, but i dont know what kinds of changes there are to suspension and engine what not.
Hmm thats a big change the wr250 would be alot tamer than the yz250f, Flywheel weight would have to be lightend as most enduro bikes have heavy flywheels to spread out the power. Also gearing on a yz250f is much closer so you would not be going as fast as your wr up top but you would have more power. I recomend you get the yz250f specs and try copy it for your wr, bewarned you will never get it right, there is so much stuff to do.
Bottom line is a enudro bike is worth more than a mx bike, So ide just sell the wr and buy a yzf cheaper in the long run and then spend your money on shiney new gear :)

ok
so if i got a lighter flywheel and got a smaller sprocket, do you think it would balance it out so i could get better top end if not the same?
Yeah a lighter flywheel will
Yeah a lighter flywheel will defo make a big diff on the wr you will get alot more snap out of it. Whats ur current gearing??
dont know
ohhh... i dont know,
maybe i could get a larger sprocket to just skip the whole flywheel thing?
