Motorcycling Australia applies for leaded fuel exemption

Motorcycling Australia has applied to the federal government's Environment
Australia for an exemption to allow certain classes use leaded fuel.
Competitors are required to apply for a fuel pass book from Motorcycling
Australia, in order to purchase leaded fuel from approved suppliers.
To become approved, a supplier must be nominated by Motorcycling Australia
to the Minister for Environment.
Competitors in Historic Road Racing, Classic Motocross, Classic Dirt Track,
Classic Trials and Road Racing Grand Prix Classes should advise
Motorcycling Australia of the names of leaded fuel suppliers they have used
and wish to continue using.
