Well, i was starting to think that Charlies Angels: Full Throttle might not be worth a cinema trip. Lots of reviews around the 'net basically canned it as having no plot, too much action, too many babes (yeah, right).
But this one has turned it around for me.
"Not long after, Full Throttle becomes the best motorcycle motocross epic since Bruce Brown's 1971 On Any Sunday.
Barrymore and co-stars Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu hop aboard open-class
dirt bikes to cavort in flying formation while trying to bring down a
knobby-tired assassin. Later, the trio goes up against Demi Moore as a
seemingly indestructible ex-Angel gone bad."

The AMA Grand National Cross Country Series will rumble through the
rubble of Wisp at Deep Creek Mountain Resort this weekend at the
second-annual MSR Wisp GNCC. The top professional and amateur woods
riders on both two and four wheels have been preparing for this race
for months. The course will be laid out on the lush ski slopes of the
Wisp, and the steep hills and incredibly rocky woods sections make this
race unique amongst all in the country.
Time to rev up those engines and hit the dirt at the Anchorage Racing Lions City Motocross Series at the Jodhpur Street Motocross Track. The next race is Sunday, June 29. Sign-up and practice start at 8 a.m., with racing at 10:30 a.m. Race entry fee is $20 members; spectators get in for $5, and kids are free. www.mxalaska.com

News June 26:First Ride 04' Yamaha YZ125
Yamaha sprang from the gate to become the first manufacturer to release a 2004 motocross bike. Dirt Rider met with the boys in blue at RaceTown 395 in Adelanto, California, to spin laps on the revamped ride. With so much hype surrounding Honda's, Kawasaki's and Suzuki's new 250 four-stroke motocross bikes, Yamaha knew it had to tweak its two-stroke eighth-liter mount to compete. Subtle alterations to the YZ along with an all-new 48mm Kayaba fork should up the ante in the 125 class for 2004.

While the track is not the subject of this story, the noise made by the track has been brought up in the top story of the day!. This in itself will make people think more about it and consider whether the track should be there. Something for the locals to keep an eye on I think. Noise is a very big issue with our sport.
If you have a very loud muffler, consider toning it down a little. Do you really need it that loud?
