Danny Smith grabbed the holeshot, just in front of Ivan Tedesco, who also got a great start, but then dropped the bike in the second turn, putting him way back in the pack.
Nathan Ramsey also got terrible start. They both had their work cut out from there.
Ramsey dropped the KTM 250 four stroke in the whoops on lap 5, and had a lot of trouble restarting it, finishing a lap down at the end in 20th spot.
However, it was Billy Laninovich's day, with Andrew Short grabbing second, and Ivan Tedesco grabbing third.
Ivan Tedesco was sensational, coming from way back in the pack for the third place.
