Does anyone know a number, website or where maitland motocross track is and what days it is open?

Hey everyone. I'm new to this site and I'm in the Air Force stationed at Hickam AFB, Oahu, Hawaii. I just bought my 5yr old his first dirtbike, and we need a place to go out and let him get a feel for it. Does anyone know of any areas that a newbie can get his first scars? lol Really we just need an open field or something where he can learn to ride. Land is such a premium on this island. I've seen some guys riding down by Sandy Beach, but I don't know if that would be a good place or not.

Cole crossing is part of the Cox Scrub Conservation Park, and is only 1.9ha in area, and has recently become more populary with 4wd and trail bikes.

Obviously no trail bike is going to create a 1.5m deep hole though, this, and other pictures i've seen recently of the border track show the damage that 4wd's can do.

Motorcycles aren't totally innocent, however, so do try and ride only on allowed areas.
