I HAVE A VINTAGE 1978-1981 YAMAHA MX 100...IM NOT QUITE SURE WHAT YEAR IT IS BUT OTHER THAN THAT I WANTED TO KNOW IF ANY ONE KNOWS IF IT IS A 4 STROKE OR A 2 STROKE....

I am trying to find out what year this engine in a baket I have is ..its a yz125 suposed to be a 97..does this number tell me anything off the cases serial no. 4xm003333 thanks for any response ..

Im the proud owner of a new yfz 450 and was just curious to see what u guys think the first performance mods i should make. Header/exhaust system? air intake? and if you own one and have made changes let me know what changes youve made and how much of a difference its made and how?
Which paddles are the most cutting edge as far as hook-up, traction and manueverability?
hi, i am a newb here, i dont have a bike yet, but i plan on it.I am I just turned 14, i am about five foot three, and i was wondeing what type of bike would be good for me. If i had to choose, i would want a suzuki rm85L, can anyone tell me if this bike is a good size for me? thank you to anyone who helps me, and your respnsce is greatly appreciated.

Ok all of you dirt bike enthusiests. I have here a 1972 suzuki enduro, restored to its former glory. It was a little project of mine and I'm 17. I bored it over 20 and placed a nice yzico piston in it. It has high low and can keep up with the big boys. When i first had it done and I raced a yamaha blaster and spanked it ez. I placed a nice rear tire. It has big tread for some offroad use like trailing and all. I placed new seat and all has new bulbs for headlight and tail, has rack for what ever you want. Blinkers are kind of a problem. wile i was installing them one of them broke, so if you are willing to pay like 20$ for a blinker you can make the bike street legal. All in all I payed over 1000$ in it and would like it if I could get at least 1000$ back out. Have a few projects I need it for. I have been riding 2 strokes for the past couple of years and have recently decided to join the 4 stroke family. I was just wondering what kind of general maintence is required... especially for cr450f's and yz450f's Do you have to rebuild top ends... etc.
