TT-R125 chain problem

I think it's my own fault, but the chain came off. I was trying to shift to second, missed, went into neutral and it all got baffeled there...or maybe the chain was messed up before hand so this happened...

anyways, i'm kind of new to working on the bike myself and i'm not 100% sure how to loosen the chain. it won't just fit back on like it has before. my dad would usually help me with this, but he's out riding somewhere and wont be back for a while, and the bike is stuck in the back of the house, not able to push it up, plus it's only a chain problem so i don't think i need to...

I think i need to loosen the chain to refit it on to the sproket, but how? it seems it won't fit and is too tight to just smack on (although i tried) thanks in advance
