KTM OCTOBER 2002 SAFETY RECALL

KTM Austria informed us that there is a change in the status of the triple clamp recall. It is an unfortunate situation but KTM takes their customers safety very seriously. The initial recall procedure was developed based on all the evidence available to the factory at the time of the announcement. Being a safety related defect and to avoid possible injury to the KTM owner the factory did not have the luxury to wait to gather further evidence before acting and inspecting.

SM Series

Hello to all,
I can only say how sorry I am to announce that the proposed Australian Supermotard Series 2003 will not be going ahead as planned this season.

Due to my personal circumstances I have been unable to continue promoting the series alone, whilst my other business interests continue. It was my intention to try to run the series through another promoter but this has come to zero
and although the entries are out for the first round on the Internet, many competitors have not received them and it would be unfair to continue.
