netrider.org.au irc chat channel

For those that are not aware, we (netrider.org.au) have an IRC chat channel on the oz.org network.

We have preconfigured the software that you require to connect to the chat channel and it is available from http://netrider.org.au/netrider.zip

Simply unzip it, and run the mirc32.exe file - not the mlink32.

Once it has fired up it will connect you automatically to the OzOrg network and then to the chat channel, #netrider.

Merriman 2nd overall in 2002 Individual Two Day Enduro World Championship

Merriman 2nd overall in 2002 Individual Two Day Enduro World Championship

The seventh and final Round of the 2002 Individual Enduro World Championship
was held in Sweden on the weekend.

Aussie Stefan Merriman, who had dominated the 400cc 4 Stroke class of the
championship from the very beginning, was disappointingly unable to start on
the Sunday, due to a knee injury sustained the week before in Finland.

Ricky Carmichael & James Stewart in control

250 - Ricky Carmichael - what can you say? He's so good right now, it's almost boring! Ricky dominated both heats today, and he's done that at every event this season. Ricky has 10 moto wins in a row, and that ties a record with Bob Hannah. Bob Hannah started out the 1978 season with 10 250 moto wins in a row.

Mike LaRocco is making a nice comeback after being out with an injured wrist. He took second overall with finishes of fourth and second.

Third overall went to the hard charging Tim Ferry. Tim finished second in the first moto, but fell in the finale, and had to work hard to get all way back up to fourth.
