i own a crf 150f and want some thing that weighs less than 200 pounds, can race and is fast as hell, also i am 15 145 pounds mabey 5,9
any suggestions?
You would be picking from the 125s so. Imo I would go with a yz125 great bike cheap to run too. No point in putting mods on the 125 compared to your old 150 that thing is a animal.
i put a aftermarhet exhaust and put 2 stroke valves on it so they wont burn if i rev too high
but the thing that kills me about it is it weighs so much
225lbs stock and like 235 now cause of the other parts its so heavy
plus im a little tall for it
i wouldent get a yamaha there crap, and if you wont to race then your going to have to pay a prie for it, and if you wont to get a bike for racing and trailriding i would go with a 250 fourstroke,i recomend a honda caue a race them but kawis and ktm are good just dont get a yamacrap or a huky

did u just say that u put 2 stroke valves on your 4 stroke crf150f, "So that whenu rev so high they wont burn". because let me tell u a little story. ya see the valves in a 4 stroke are made of metal and are round and located in the head of the engine. they let fuel in and exhaust out. the valves on a 2 stroke(reed valves) are located on the intake manifold and are thin pieces of nylon or other suitable material, they control back pressure in the intake manifold. so wat im sayin with all the is; what the hell did u put on yur bike because 2 strokes dont have valves!!! anyone else catch that.
you could go with a kx100 but i dont know if there a racing class, i pesonally dont ride kawis bbut if your just riding it should be fine, but when you say a 125 or 250 is two big, not really since your coming off a 150, ive been riding for four year and after three year of riding i went from a xr100 to a crf230 and it wasent a big step up,
bullshit, thats a load of crap your fifteen and have worked on airplane engines, yeah not unless there your younger siblings, romote control planes. really did you just pull that out of your ass?
im 17 and have been workin on engines since i was 6. electronics too. i build robots, and weld, and attach engines to lots of unsuspecting items like bicycles. like everyone else, i had a nitro rc car, rebuilt that completely too. ive know how to do all this stuff and im only 17. never taken my car to a mechanic and ive been deep into it. once, 1 more bolt and the engine would have been on the floor, all to replace my clutch. it sounds like he is talkin about nitro plane engines to me also. which are great to start on, i had my nitro rc car when i was like 12 and it taught me a few things. idk, if u dont believe the whole engine knowledge and wat not, i have pics of some of my robots and motorized bikes plus, i have pics of my rmz250 after the rebuild and it runs so i must kno wat im doin lol. check out www.mototips.com im the moderator there and i have pics of my bike up there. we are always lookin for new members over there, become one and make sure u say that tigmaster reffered u.
I NO THERE ALOT DIFERENT THEN BIKES BUT DONT TEST ME ON PLANES
THATS THE 1 THING THAT I REALLY NO ALOT ABOUT
I MUST SAY THO THAT NOTHIN COMPARES TO BEIN ON 2 WHEELS
BUT BACK TO THE WHOLE NEW BIKE THING
-------I HAV A CRF 150F RIGHT NOW--ANY ONE NOW IF THERE IS A LIFT KIT OR IF I CAN PUT LARGER WHEELS ON IT---
I ALSO WANTED TO PUT A PRO CIRCUT T-4 EXHAUST, RENTHAL 428 FINAL DRIVE CONVERSION KIT AND EVENTUALLY A BBR 175CC BIG BORE KIT--- ANY ONE HAV ANY INFO ON THESE
OR DO U GUYS THINK THAT I SHOULD JUST GET A NEW BIKE
yeah i would definitally go with a bigger bike, because (im not positive but if tig reads this he can correct me) if you put a bigger wheel on it ecspecially without modifing the shocks you can mess up your stabilization and straightness wich would mess up your turning, a far as lift kits (correct me again tig) i dont think there is any liftkit at least not safely, and puting a t-4 and drive conversion and a big bore kit, kid in a year maybe two your going to be getting a bigger bike anyway so just step it up now, and modify your new bike perferably a 125 or 250.
i would go with a crf250 r not f, and im a honda man but look at the kawaski 250 fourstrokes, they may be a litle more more pricey but a couple people said the kawis are better so id check it out to

You got ur bike to 72. A 450f would only be a little bit faster than that with stock gearing.
Hold on your one of theses 12 year olds that dont have a clue what they talk about??????.
i would bet u
we clocked it on a airport runway
i just said they are not 2 stroke valves they are a better grade valve that make it run more like a 2 stroke
