TTR225

My wife has a TTR225 which perfectly suits her riding style. She is not fast, but faster than most of the other women riders.

The bike is very comfortable and easy to ride. Electric start. Virtually no maintenance except to oil the chain once and a while.

I like to jump on it just to have some fun in the bush when I take my 8yr old daughter as pillion. too dangerous to pillion with my Husky TE450 The TTRt is nice on the road as well.

It is a perfect choice for someone not intereseted in racing, but likes an easy and capable smaller bike for the bush.

TTR225 Vs CRF230

The CRF 230 is a (slightly) quicker, better handling bike, but girls will find the seat too hard and will compain of the engine vibrations coming through the handlebars. There is no counter balancer in the engine.

Whats the difference

Is there a real difference between the 225 and the 230. is the exhaust any different?

Like my bike!

I have a 2004 TTR-225, after riding my husband's Suzuki DR350S my bike's a lot easier to handle. My husband calls it a "wife bike" and I guess he's right, but it's comfortable (even though I'm 6'1"), gives me all the power I need for desert/trail riding, and it's forgiving. I haven't had any troubles with mine, I ride about 4-5 times/week.

nothing

they just changes from 225 to 230 the exhaust may look a little different but basically the same. they both have a 223 displacement so your really getting the same bike out of both

ouch!
