Totally new to dirt bikes. Havent ridden one before.
Been riding BMX since early 80s. Anybody got any suggestions where to start.? What CC for beginner
Have ridden a 250 road bike for about 2 years but havent been riding for the last 6 months.
Dirt bikes and street bikes are obviously completley different bikes eh...

250cc dirtbikes like the
250cc dirtbikes like the Yamaha WR250F are generally considered a good place to start.
You should be pretty comfortable quickly with the power due to the road riding, and the BMX will help when off road to start.
I started off with a Honda XR250, which is a little lower performance, but you should be able to pick one up fairly cheap, and they are low maintenance and reliable.
