although i have various other parts such as graphics kit and whatnot.. for everyone who says that 230 have no balls.. i have to buy sidewinder sprockets for my bike because i went through 2 sets of renthals in a week.. these parts are the only thing you need as far as preformance on a 230. im telling you.. it rips teeth clear off the sprocket theres so much power.. and it gives it so much more top and bottom end.. my little cousin just got a 150r and i blow him away out of the gate. the only part that he excels in is coming out of a wide berm.. my bike still suffers from major power loss from shifting from 3rd into 4th other than that.. i love my bike.

the crf 150r definitly wont go as fast top speed but thats because it is geared to go around a track and come out of turns faster, the 150 will blow the 230 away on the track but the 230 will still go faster and the 150 most likely has a lighter fly weel making it more tourkey.
it really depends on the riders experiance. last weeken i was ridin with all my family down in la and i was smoking them on all the trails. and this was with i was on a 150f. and on the track they would beat me on their 150r but thats because they use to race. so it all just depends on who has more experiance on a bike

i have both bikes they do the same in 5th but the 230 has that 6th and it makes it real easy to pull away from my brother.both good bikes though.
