I have a chance to buy a 98 KDX 200. I am looking for a good trail bike with some track use as well. I have heard this is one of the all-time great trail bikes? Is this true even though it is a 2 stroke? I have also looked at the CRF230 and have been told I would be much happier with the KDX as it will be great on trails and track, where the 230 does horribly on a track?

i hav an 02 kdx200 and its a great bike for trails. its ok for jumping aswell but the suspension is a lil bit soft. they r really reliable and if u wanna get more power a pro circuit exhaust system really brings the motor to life. the kdx will b heaps more fun than a crf
