im 6 ft tall bout 180 lbs and was wondering about what to get for a dirtbike for trail riding and a few off roading areas up in the mountain
i live in lake tahoe nevada and i wont be getting a bike til next year when i get back from iraq im in the air force
i really need help choosing the right bike for me
my bosses suggest i get a 250cc dirtbike 4 stroke but start off with a 2stroke to make things easier

FOR TRAIL RIDING I WOULD SUGGEST GET A 250 4 STROKE...THEY ARE VERY RELIABLE...ANOTHER GOOD BIKE WOULD BE A HONDA CRF230F OR A YAMAHA TTR230...THEY ARE AGRESSIVE AND THEY RIDE MORE LIKE BIG BIKES AND ARE GOOD BEGGINER BIKES ANOTHER GOOD THING ABOUT THEM IS THAT THEY ARE LIKE $2500-$3000 CHEAPER THAN A 250 4 STROKE...

Haha this guy is in the army not a kid he needs a real bike not a crf230. I would tell you to go out and buy yourself a 125 dont bother with the 250f, Would will be come a much faster rider if you start out on the 2 strokes. If your into trail riding get a Ktm exc125 Very very good woods bike. And ktm are known for been the best in woods.
