People the day 2 strokes stop been made then talk about them not been made. 2 strokes will be along for a long time still, dont mind what ever you hear if you want a 2 stroke go ktm they will be making them for years to come due to popularity and most years are Interchangeble for parts on ktms, Or the yz top 2 makes in 2 strokes.
And if you think emmisions is going to kill the 2 stroke once the makers like ktm or yamaha bring out EFI on them, They will be a whole lot more eco friendly and animals.
look at the snowmobile industry. the 2 stroke sleds with efi are so much more efficiant than the fourstrokes even if the fourstrokes are efi too. when manufactors put efi in 2 strokers it is going to rock. they will have so much snap and they wont be gettin put down for emmissions. its gonna kick ass. and guess what else..... NO MORE JETTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not that its a big deal or anything more like a pain in the ass
u guys realize that even with efi, THE ENGINE IS BURNING OIL. there is no way around emmissions with that. yes they may be lower, but dont ever be thinkin that yur 2 stroke is a clean burnin eco friendly bike(ya maybe the power is like that lol) but u have to burn oil at the moment to lubricate yur bike and until they change that fact nothing is going to stop the terrible emissions of these bikes. granted snowmobiles and jet skis that are 2 strokes KICK ASS. 4 stroke jet skis and snowmobiles suck, the power diff is amazing. however with dirt bikes it is the other way around. they could have 12 injectors and that isnt going to save any emmissions.

efi isnt really gonna change the fact that a 2 stroke is BURNING OIL. that kinda breaks the whole emissions thing right there.
