Hi everyone, im new here. Im going to be buying my buddies 92 kx125...Its in like new shape and runs and rides great. Im getting a really good deal on it. I am wondering what kind of exhaust i should look into. Also whats the deal with jetting? Im just looking for a little more power. It is bone stock now, but i think it may have been rebuilt. Thanks alot for the help

1992 kx 125

The first thing i would do is check the top end.If damged , rebuild(piston, rings, top end bearing, gaskits)if also theres cyclinder damge bore over(check if it sleeved)kawasaki's have that crome bore shock.Make shore when you rebuild clean all carbon build up. Throw out that head and kips power band chamber. When thats all done and over with move on to the pipeing. For that I would use fmf complete. Then move on tto the jetting. When you jet it to equel out to the pipe, make shore you have an new air filter.

I agree with insance, But just do the rebuild when you get the bike. Im sure it has not been done for a long time on that bike. You will notice the power straght away.
