The CRF250R will roll the 125 up and smoke it. Have you never been to the honda site before? Have you ever heard of Andrew Short? They don't race 125's anymore because the 250r's rip them a new asshole. Go to some mx racing sites sometimes, u'll learns you sometin!
they shouldnt even call it a 125 class its all those 250f's now except for those few . but i got rm 125 and i can wind it up on an mx track ive never ridin a 4 stoke 250 so im not gonna say anything dumb about them
i own a 01 cr125r.i race it at a local track and in that class are about 50-50 2-stokes and 4-strokes.theres not a four stroke in the field that can keep up with me.just goes to show that its not what u ride....its how u ride it.and the reason the more pros ride four strokeed is because they like the torque coming out of berms and you dont have to keep your rpms as high.and just for the record..it has been proventhat a 125r will beat a 250f in any race over 19 yards+.
What are u noobs talking about.. the 125 is definetly giong to be right along side of the 250 in a drag, if not absolutly smoke it. AND IT DEPENDS ON THE RIDER IN A RACE because 2 strokes are alot harder to ride because you have to keep the rpms high to have the most power.
what are you talkin about. with the weight of the 250r and the torque it has the 4stroke definatelly pulls away from it, until approximatelly 19 yards then the 2 stroke walks the dawg on that bike, because since the 125 is a top end bike it gets more out of every gear. and they use the fourstroke because of the awesome amount of torque no matter were you and because its so easy to ride.
Hey man i have a worked CR125 i where i ride there are always plenty of bikes to compete against. I can walk away from the stock 250's. they have power at low range but out in the open the CR 125 winds up and easily pulls away. This does depend on rider skill though coz where i live the mainpastime is riding out the bush. The police ride 450's and my CR will keep up the pace while im trying to get away untill we hit sand tracks out in the open and i have no chance.

CRF 250 is a great bike i havnt rid the CR125 but i have the crf250 and thts great.

The 250 fourstroke has more power. i have one and it wastes the crappy 125 twostrokes.
it depends on the rider but if you put one rider on the 250f and one 125 that have equal skill ...
THE 250F WOULD KILL THE TWOSTROKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
