my last bike was an 87 CR500R I'm not sure what the top speed was but I never met another machine on the trail that could take it down in a straight line drag. sniff sniff I never should have sold it.
The CRF 150 can go between 52 and 58 mph, depending on the riders weight, and whether the baffler is in or not. I increased my speed by 5mph taking the baffler out. You will be a able to beat a 250 sporttrax easily, that machine can't go above 50mph.
