first you have to have good balance. then get going in 1st gear and when it feels balanced just lean back jerk up on the handle bars and dump the clutch. then get riding it longer and steeper and i switch gears

i have the same bike like the first guy said get it balenced but get going a lil bit bring it up to second ten slow it way down but keep t rpms up not high but just enough so u dont have to pop it back into first pull in cluch give it some gas then pop the cluch and lean back.... or u could go on a small steep hill like in second and right before u hit the top of the hill pull back put be carefull buddy i almost broke a ass bone doing that.
ok well i just gotta say TT-R's are sooo boring u musten like power ay or be scared of bikes.... im a 14 year old chick and i ride my cousin CR 400, also we have a YZF400, great bikes!! and im thinken of gettin a CRF 230 but i heard they havnt got much power is that true?? im not looking for heaps of power like the YZF400 but more toward to CR 400 but not as much.... any one got any suggestions?
