dont they have a 144cc bore limit now for amatures racing 125's, thats pretty cool that they've done that, tryin to help em out from being swarmed out by 250 thumpers..125's are fuckin sweet but i was playin around on a crf250r and lets just say there might be one of those sittin in my garage soon :)
ye i agree keep the 2 stroke rollin i was all out for gettin a 250f but now when i see all the ppl going on bout there 4 stroke and how 2 strokes are crap im like fuck off my little 125 would rip dirt all over the 4 stroke and weight is nothing look at the specs of a 250f and 125 there is not that much mabey a extra few kgs but thats nothing come on 2 all that talk to 2 strokes will stop been made and all that really gets to me thats why im a proud owner of my bike now a yz125 and allways will be
what eva fool you should get with the times man have you seen all the 2 strokes the champs are riding man 4 stroke riders ride around on those pussy arse things cause you cant handle the power of a 2 stroke
all i gotta say is if you fuck up in a corner on a thumper just roll on the gas and get out of it. it takes a real man to go into a corner third gear, clutch in, wide open prayin you get enough traction to make the double. pre mixers all the way. and thumpers pretty much weigh the same as a 2 stroke stock, especially if you get carbon exhaust or anything. suck my shorty R304 4 stroke bitch
The regulations favour the 4 strokes. The reason there aren't more 2 strokes in there is because the big manufacturers went to 4 stroke. Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki are all playing follow the Honda. Honda are the biggest Japanese bike company, so what they say goes - even if it is wrong.
Now we have 4 strokes that won't last 100 hours before a complete rebuild. 2 strokes last much longer - or should I say, the repair costs and rebuild time is barely a poofteenth. 2 strokes have a more exciting power curve and in my opinion sound better. Their CofG is better and they reward the rider more.
2 stroke engines will make a comeback. They are cleaner than they used to be and the technology still has a long way to go. 4 strokes will only become more and more complicated and maintenance will get worse. The sooner manufacturers realise their waste of resources on over-complicated pieces of thumper-turd, the better.
4 strokes need double the capacity to stay ahead. You can be lazy on a 4 stroke. Who wants to be a lazy loser?
