hey i am goin to drag race a kx 125 soon and i have a crf250r and i was wondering which bike would win both of us weigh around the same and the drag strip isnt all that long so if u have any idea please post.
There are lots of factors that could affect the outcome, such as:
Ground texture - The CRF should hook up better in poor traction, but in good traction, this advantage will be reduced.
Tire tread
Rider ability
Rider agressiveness
Gearing
and more, but you get the idea. Try and do it uphill, the CRF might have an advantage there.
Remember, a drag race is nothing like MX racing. Do couple of laps of the MX track and see who's in front. Then do it again. Then again. Then again. etc. Before you know it you'll both be taking on RC & Chad Reed.
No, sorry you'd be in the 125's - so you'd be taking on Mike Brown, Ivan Tedesco, Grant Langston, Mike Alessi and a whole lot more!
Awwww The beauty of a 2 stroke no limiter you can just keep on revin we dragged a yzf250 and a rm125 with out a powervalve and the yzf only won by a little bit plus better rider on the yzf. its all about gearing really.
well actually i raced my firend w/ the 125 last summer and i won by prolly a bike length or 2. he wanted a rematch so we raced again and i beat him by like half a length that time
Too hard to call

the kx definetly
the 2 stroke would blow because it has lots more power
but...
no i hear that four strokes have more power also that the 4 strokes pull away on long straights

stroke all the way but the 250will keep up just alot depends on the skill just pop the clutch alot and remember pin it to win it......
