KX125vs 450R

Who do you think will win in a quarter mile drag race between a 2005 KX125 (with new pipe,port/polish head) vs 2005 TRX 450R (with HRC hop-up kit)? My cousin wants to race me and I own the quad in Va and he's located in Fla. By the time we actually get to race I'll probably have my Rossier full exhaust and some motor mods. Just want to know what you think the outcome would be if we were to race today? Thanks

thats a really good question i would think the 450 would win but take off the kx would have him i say em u see cause one of my friends has a 350 banshee and my friend has a yz125 done up with a new flywheel and the lot but they raced and the banshee to me won cause what my friend done was when he got out in front he could not pass but the banshee was up in his arse for the wole time but i dont think the kx will win i wold love to see it win but i cant see tell me who wins i would love to be proven wrong and the kx to win :)

I will let you know what happens when we race. But about your friends Banshee, I thought they had very little low end power anyways. I would think a 450R would have more low end power and should be able to pull out the holeshot a little faster than a stock Banshee. I hope I win because my cousin has been talking alot of SMACK.

on this it depepends on the track the track has to have a ton of whoops and corners that kx can fly over the whoops easier than that 450r and it can come out of corners faster cause its lighter and less materilal less bulky, and u would also need some jumps cuase the kx has a better suspension than tat 450, and no strait aways on the track than the kx would have a good chance of winning

if its a str8 quarter mile the 450 would prob win cause it would have a lot of time to get up into high gear. but the kx would def get the holeshot until 3rd or 4th powerban and then the 450 would just come. good luck u racing for just braggin rights or something??

i don't know if a cr125 or kx125 is different in speed but i beat 450s on my cr125. all you really have to do is speed shift and sit close to the tank so it won't come up as easy.

you wont wreck your piston in a 125 if you know how to ride.i have a yz 125 and i can take all my frends on there pussy fore strokes in a quarter mile easy and it doesnt wreck the piston

hell ya a 450r will be torn apart by a 125 even if it is kawasaki. the 450r would have to have at least 60hp to tie a 125 and wat the hell was all this bout the 450r pulling away dude if ne thing the 125 would pull

I saw your question last week so i decided 2 do a test when i was at the track last weekend.I draged a yzf450 yamaha it was about a 1/4 mile.Im on a 2004 CR125 we did it a few times and what happned was i was in the lead till 3rd or sometimes 4th gear then the 450 just pulled it at the end.If it is a four wheeler im sure u will take it easy.

2wheels dude u gotta be more specific, wat the hell u talkin bout cuz there is a yfz450 quad and a yz450f dirt bike and if u raced the dirtbike u wouldnt have a chance right from the start. thats wat it seems yur sayin, but theres no way way u holeshot a yz450f, even if the guy was an idiot. if u were racin a yfz450 then yea u wouldnt of have a prob, i really wanna kno wat u were racin, i wasnt tryin to be rude.

No worries i was racing a YZ450F.And i was taking it till 3rd.I hear what u saying.But when i say taking it,it was within 1 bikes lenth.We did it a few times.Sometimes he took and others me so overall it was close but mostly me till about 3rd.
