crf250r horsepower

u guys don't know much cos my yz85 has about 25 bhp.
the rm-z 250 has 31bhp so the cr-f would have roughly the same.
i got this info from a mag.

no its around like 22 im pretty sure cuz the 230 its like 16 or 17 and the 250 isent much bgger it might be 25 at the most

i kno a yz450f has 43 hp not bhp. so 24 hp is wat a yz250f should have, no subtract the yamaha factor and u get around 22 hp so ya thats right. but dont ever compare 4 stroke hp to 2 stroke hp cuz for example an rm85 has 25 hp but would most definately get beaten by a crf250

You need to do some research just because the crf 230 has around the same ccs as the 250 does'nt mean its just as fast. Thats why the crf250r is in the racing category and has a unicam racing engine. I should no because I have ridden a crf 230 and own a crf 250 04 and yes it has around 35 I can look it up if you want the exact horsepower

the 250 is a race bike the 230 is a girls bike

i ride an rmz250 and it is titled at 37.5HP and has 35HP at the wheel. i know before i said it was prob around 24hp but i hadnt realized the power of four strokes.
