Minnesotan lookin to ride

Forum Topics
Husqvarna

I'm from Minnesota and a buddy and I would like to do some riding late Feb early March. 1st question whats the weather like in that area at that time. And how's the riding?? We like flowing single track with some Technical stuff mixed in. Is Saddleback the best place to ride or do you have any other suggestions? We'ld like to go no farther South then Northern Tennessee. Any motorcycle only riding areas?? A moto track would be nice to.

Thanks Kevin

Forum Topics

Does anybody know of a flywheel kit to suit the 2004 Husky TE450 to make it less likely to stall on knotty hill climbs and log hopping etc?

Sproing!!

Forum Topics
Husqvarna

I have an '84 Husky 250. I was innocently removing the left sidecover of the engine to remove a waterpump seal for replacement and the darn kickstarter spring went "sproing"!!! The technical documentation I have is extremely un-informative. Could someone enlighten me please, on how to set that spring again. I assume it requires some amount of pre-load.

Thanks,

Steve

First Husky forum post

Since i've just bought the Husky TE510, I thought I'd better add a husqvarna forum section!

Jaydee Motorcycles did a fantastic job preparing the bike for me, and its just done 150km so far, so time for that first warranty service.

Something that you may not know, is that you can get the warranty service done by any qualified mechanic/shop if you are a bit away from your Husky dealer.

I've only had one hiccup with the bike, and that is wearing through the shock protection flap that covers the swingarm. I guess the combination of the large standard rear tyre, going to the 15 tooth sprocket, and a bit too much right hand action caused the tyre to expand at speed and rub it through. :-(
