Husqvarna CH Racing Team remained on Italian ground for the 3rd WEC GP, which took place in amazing Sardinia last week end.
Although the race was very hard and made the riders sweat for the top positions, the Husqvarna riders accepted the challenge and came away with strong results.
In E3 class, Sebastien Guillaume took his WR 300 right to the top of the podium on Saturday, beating long time rival Ivan Cervantes. Unfortunately on Sunday the French rider couldn’t get higher than second place, which is the position that he also holds in the provisional classification.
Husqvarna Racing Australia is celebrating its first Australian title for their debut WR300 Enduro model.
Having taken an early lead in class 5 of the event, Jehi Willis went into day four’s final Moto with a 6-second lead over KTM’s Brad Williscroft. Needing only to have a clean run to wrap up the title, Willis rode a smart race all the way to the finish line.
Day three of Australia’s biggest enduro race became a test of absolute fitness, as the extremely chopped-out tests and trails proved a punishing course for all riders. Husqvarna Racing’s Jehi Willis will go into the class 5 final moto with a six-second lead over Brad Williscroft. Willis is confident he can pull a good start on his WR300, which he’ll use to keep Williscroft out of reach of the top podium spot.
