Jeremy McGrath, on the Troy Lee Designs factory CRF450R, went out and dominated the Vet Pro class at Mammoth Mountain last weekend, winning every single Vet Pro moto. According to the reporter on scene, McGrath was on Nathan Ramsey and Kevin Windham's factory practice bike.
Montclair Yamaha's Ty Davis finished second overall with a second in every moto, and David Barrett went 6-3-7-3 for third overall. Kenny Lash and Chris Young rounded out the top five overall.

EASTON -- Honda recently filmed its national 2004 motocross ad campaign at The Landing MX, a motocross complex in Easton. The shoot, held on June 16 and 17, consisted of Honda filming their national commercial and taking still photography for brochures.
Nearly 200 cast and crew were involved in shooting the campaign.

HOOKS, Texas-When Jon Paul Powell of Newton, Kan., came to Arkansas to brush up on his riding skills, little did he know that he'd end up with a job as well.
The 18-year-old Powell concluded a whirlwind 10 days by sweeping both Pro division motocross races Saturday night at the Four States MX track in the third round of the Texarkana Honda Sundown series.

Freestyle pioneer Metzger puts on a show to narrowly win West Coast championships on Saturday.

SAN BERNARDINO - Mike Metzger, considered the pioneer of freestyle motocross, narrowly defeated Brian Deegan to win the West Coast Freestyle MX extreme championships in front of 7,500 fans Saturday at the Orange Show Speedway.
The Saddleback Motorsports Park team is continuing to work diligently towards the development of a first class motocross facility in Orange County. Although the project is taking much longer to complete than we originally expected, we are still optimistic that this project will ultimately succeed.
Having learned that delays are inevitable and often out of our control, we are hesitant to estimate our future opening date. We will update everyone as often as possible and thank you for your patience.
A local motocross racing enthusiast, Don Yoxsimer, is asking PCDI to support a plan to establish a permanent motor cross practice and race track. Yoxsimer pointed out the potential economic benefits of such a facility, based on his knowledge and experience in racing in other areas of Kansas and Colorado. PCDI referred Yoxsimer's request to board member Pat Palmer, who chairs PCDI's Tourism Action Team, and asked Yoxsimer to work with the team in developing a plan of action to develop a motocross track."

A Victorian Supermotard Championship has been proposed and it's well under way in the planning stages.
This is going to be huge and not to be under estimated as a secondary
