Motocross returns to the Hastings Sunday

THIS Sunday motorcycle racing will make a welcome return to the local area with the Hastings Valley Motorcycle Club holding the first event at their new complex.
The "Hastings Valley Motorcycle Raceway" will be the venue for a new concept which is called a Club Day Sprint.

Stefan Everts Doubles again!

Stefan Everts has once again won both the 125 and 250MXGP class at the Grand Prix of Lierop in the Netherlands. This puts him in the points lead in 250MXGP and fourth in the 125 Class.

Can he win both in the one year? Now that would be quite a feat.

AMA 250cc Motocross Results

Windham again!

Coming into the Washougal round, it must have played on Kevin Windham's mind that Ricky Carmichael would be out to win at all costs, to re-establish his dominance over the 250cc Motocross class. We've all wondered, could he do it again?

AMA 125cc Motocross Results

James Stewart wins again with two first places at Washougal. Ryan Hughes came in second with a third and fourth place, and Michael Byrne came in third with seventh and second place finishes.

Unfortunately, no riders were able to match Stewarts pace, as in both Moto's he had around 20 seconds lead by the end. When will Stewart get a real challenge? When will he race the 250 class? Will Ricky be able to take Bubba?

New Tracks Open

Track Name - WILDWINDS MOTORCROSS
Located in Vanceboro, NC, which is centrally located between Greenville, New Bern, Washington and Kinston.

The track features supercross styling, sandy loam soil, high bank berms, singles, doubles, triples, rhythm sections and a step up to table top. The track has features that will challenge all skill levels, but at the same time retains a high degree of beginner safety in that all jumps can be rolled. The track has good access, plenty of parking with a fair amount of shaded space.
