How fast depends on the context, it could go 200mph...if it was towed by a F1 racecar...or even mach 2 if on a jetplane.

We bought one for my 12 year old son. I have to say, big mistake.
Its heavy, hard to start, not much power, and the suspension isn't
very tough at all. He's really struggling with it in sand and
tight trails. Its really just a trail bike and similar to the XRs,
not good for much of anything else. If I were to do it over I'd go
the a KTM 85 or something for him.

The crf may seem good in theary but it is to heavy and hasn't got enough corner accelaration. Not a good bike!
